Export all data:

This functionality was added so that users could keep multiple installations in synch.  For example, a user has one version on a laptop that they carry to their customer’s homes and another that they keep on a desktop at home.  They can now export the data from their laptops onto a floppy/memory stick/email/etc. and then import it into their desktop version.  Since everything is based on the customer’s full name if they revisit an existing customer it will know to add the new looks to the existing customer on the desktop rather then create a whole new instance.  The obvious downside is that the user cannot have two customers with the same name, but a decision was made that the extra benefits were worth the downside.

Export All Data calls 3 scripts in the SBProfiles file that exports the core data (Profiles, reports, and eye/lip selections) into 3 files in the Data directory (which has a shortcut to it on the desktop).  By using this shortcut on the desktop, the users will not have to dig around to find the data.

Export Makeovers:

This is similar to the “export all data” except it only exports a subset of the data.  Basically it provides users with a way to export all the makeovers into a tab delimited file so they can track things like which blush is the most popular. This data can be used with other programs. Use Export Client Information backups for 'my makeup makeover'.
